Crash involving garbage truck in Texas leaves 3 dead

Law enforcement authorities in Texas are in the process of investigating a collision that involved multiple vehicles and resulted in three deaths. This tragic incident occurred in the Whitesboro area on Monday, April 5. According to state laws, the family members of the deceased, as well as any injured victims, may be entitled to seek compensation for their losses.

What happened?

According to reports, this collision occurred at a school bus stop. A total of five cars had lined up behind a bus that had stopped to drop off children from school when a garbage truck failed to stop and hit the line. This caused a chain reaction crash that injured multiple people. At least four individuals were rushed to area hospitals in critical condition. Three of the four died of their injuries.

The victims

A husband, wife, and their 6-year-old daughter were in one of the cars. Sadly, only the wife survived. In another vehicle was a 60-year-old male from Denton. He ultimately succumbed to his injuries. It was reported that others were injured in the wreck and transported to medical facilities for treatment, but the conditions of these individuals have not been released.

The driver responsible

Authorities have not identified the garbage truck driver. It is unclear why he or she failed to stop. This incident is still under investigation. It has not been reported if criminal charges are pending.
